Becas Peace Revolution para retiro de meditación en Tailandia

Peace Revolution Fellowship In 2013: Discover The Treasure Of Peace From The Ocean

Now, it's your opportunity to discover the treasure of peace from the ocean and the beauty of Thailand. Don't let it go away. Apply for the fellowship in 2013 today!

Every single light in our house lit makes it warm and cozy. When we look at all the lights lit in the world from the outer space, they all connect and built a network of light. Same as our mind; a peaceful mind transforms our home into a little kingdom of peace that affects the world around us and has the power to establish world peace at large-starting from a single mind. The tool, discovered over 2600 years ago, is reactivated and has been proofed and spread by our 168 Peace Agents from 59 countries since 2008.
Your training starts with the 42 Days online self-development program on our interactive platform providing you the basic theory and practice; develop the tool for inner peace and learn about the concept of PIPO - INNER PEACE + OUTER PEACE = SUSTAINABLE WORLD PEACE. Through the Online Special OPS you have the means to share true peace to friends, family, school and your community at large.
The fellowship offers a 14 days intensive training program providing participants with deeper insight in the relationship between inner peace and sustainable world peace and enhancing their ability to create peace within their family, professional and social environment.
In addition to our intense meditation practice, participants will gain knowledge of various theoretical approaches that include:
  •  Conflict resolution and the role of the basic human self-disciplines
  •  The role of our habits in our daily life and how to improve; the 5 Rooms of life
  •  The factors that determine our perception to think, act and speak; relation between body and mind
  •  Leadership: Eight pillars for a stable peaceful society
  •  Thai-Buddhist Studies

Presently, the fellowship will take place at Mooktawan Sanctuary in an island at the southern part of Thailand. Participants will enjoy meditating in a serene and peaceful near-forest environment. Well, many people say it′s a celestial hideaway on Earth. Following video is taken from Global Peace on the Move V event at Mooktawan.

Empowerment through Education Scholarship Program

Our hope is that by providing the opportunity to further one’s education, the scholarship participants will not only be able to improve their own future, but also that of their own communities. The foundation believes in the power and importance of community service and, as a result, all scholarship participants are required to volunteer for a minimum of one month a year.

Our Ideal Candidate – A student, male or female, from a country in the developing world, who:

- successfully completed a secondary education, with good to excellent grades

- will be studying in their country or another country in the developing world

- plans to live and work in their own country after they graduate

- has volunteered prior to applying for this scholarship and/or is willing to volunteer while

receiving the WMF scholarship

- may have some other funds available for their education, but will not be able to go to

school without a scholarship

- submits a complete, legible 2013 application in English (please proof-read). Because we receive so many applications, incomplete applications will not be considered.

What we can pay for (our scholarships range from $300.US to $3000.US):

- tuition and fees

- books and materials

- room rent and meals

We do not fund :

- education at a college, polytechnic or university in the United States, UK, Australia, or

Europe (with one exception – see question #2 below). Education in these countries,

while excellent, is too expensive for our scholarship amounts to be effective.

- Masters or Doctorate degrees – we prefer to use our limited resources to assist young

people in getting their initial tertiary degree. A medical degree, however, is acceptable.

- laptop computers, conferences or trips

- debts or past due tuition bills

Applications must be received by April 1, 2013 to be considered for the 2013-2014 school year.
